| Info | Any funds from cd sales would go to The Tabitha Foundation in Cambodia (www.tabitha.ca). They promote sustainable development in impoverished Cambodia families by investing with them in simple, sturdy houses, wells, bicycles for school, etc. Housebuilding teams raise funds overseas for these projects, and then go to Cambodia to build the houses with the very families for whom they've raised funds ... in this way a sort of 'circle of development' is maintained. | Artist Info | Coalescence ... sometime around 2002, in a now-defunct basement bar called Western Town. Unfortunately we closed it down. We sought and discovered 98 Pub in the bowels of the Shihlin night market ... a very happy home. Spiritual guidance from Maurice and Simba. Alas, we closed it down. Back to Tien Mou and Dream's Maker studio and the patronage of rocker Steve. Too loud for the neighbours, and we closed it down. Now we're back with Maurice in the basement of a mysterious shop in Shihlin, with Elvis and Gene Simmons action figures watching over the generous gear. The shop is currently devolving into a bar of some sort. Though Pauli has left us (leaving a Pauli-shaped hole in the band, hopefully temporarily) Andrew has joined and a different sound is emerging. As ever we're happy to play for no one. |
