Pan Africana Cultural Troupe is a group of professional drummers and dancers
of African ancestry who have come together to share all that is African
with the people of Asia, Taiwan in particular. Pan Africana Cultural Troupe
consists of (8) members and was formed in 2004 in order to collaborate with
number of Asian community organization on cultural events. The members of
Pan Africana Cultural Troupe are from different countries, e.g. Ghana, South
Africa, Saint Vincents, Canada, Dominica, Cameroon and America.
The Pan Africana plays a lively drum-based musical selection of African songs and their wicked rhythm and dance troupe assault your senses with
their traditional and intoxicated beats that keep you begging for more.
Pan Africana Cultural Troupe honors the authentic integrity of West African
and the Caribbean musical arts. Bringing the music and dance of Africa to
people of all ages. Pan Africana mission is to share the joy, passion, and
ENERGY of West African and Caribbean music and dance with audiences in
Taiwan and the rest of the Asian countries. African song and dance has much
to teach Taiwanese about diversity, about love, about allowing the body to
move naturally.
Pan Africana performs at shows and special events in the
Republic of China, Taiwan. Area of Northern, Southern Eastern and Western.

To provide a forum for and facilitate the exchange of cultural ideas.
To promote racial harmony
To develop and disseminate the knowledge of African culture through dance and drumming.
To provide members with training in African drumming and dancing.
